02How the player works

Click-to-load, no auto-tracking

The Twitch player above only loads when you click "Start stream". Until then no data flows to Twitch — that's GDPR-compliant and means you're on the page without a consent banner.

When you start the stream, an iframe from player.twitch.tv is embedded. Twitch then sees your IP and browser info and may set cookies — details in the privacy policy. Switching tabs between ESL / BLAST / PGL / IEM loads the corresponding channel into the same iframe.

03Why these four channels

The tier-1 CS streams

  • ESL CS — IEM events, Pro League, ESL Challenger, Major qualifiers. Basically 24/7 CS coverage somewhere.
  • BLAST Premier — BLAST World Final, Spring Final, Fall Final. English-language, strong production.
  • PGL — the Major streams (PGL Cluj-Napoca, PGL Astana, etc.). When a Major is on, this is the address.
  • IEM — the ESL sub-channel for IEM-only events (Katowice, Cologne, Dallas).
